終末期医療に関わる在宅介護者の介護負担の構造を明らかにした．日本語版Zarit Caregiver Burden Interview（J-ZBI）を用いた結果，生活の犠牲，介護が必要とされる状況への否定，拘束の4因子15項目に関する介護負担要因が抽出され，終末期医療に携わる在宅介護者の介護負担には生活の犠牲，介護が必要とされる状況への否定，拘束の4つの視点で関わっていくことが必要である．
